If you are shy of public performing, don’t worry- you’ll be amongst friends who support and encourage you. Lately, both groups hire a coach and travel the area to give light concerts to retirement homes and similar bringing reminiscence and pleasure with “songs from the shows” We don’t pretend to be choirs- just friends who enjoy “Singing for Pleasure”- and it is.
Health benefits?
A three-year study found that there were fewer doctor’s visits, and fewer problems where people sung together. The necessarily improved posture, breathing and shear enjoyment makes life more fun and you generally feel good. We challenge you to prove this wrong.
