Coventry Community Support Grants

Community Support Grants provide support with financial assistance to help people settle or re-settle into the community.

Eligibility criteria must be met and people may be asked to provide evidence with the application. Awards are made at the Council’s discretion as there is a limited amount of money and the council may not be able to pay every claim.  Each application will be treated on their individual merits, with the overall aim of the grants being to :

• Reduce poverty
• Support young people in the transition to adult life
• Safeguard residents in their own homes
• Help those who are trying to help themselves
• Keep families together
• Support vulnerable people in the local community
• Help people through difficult events
